Juma’s Story

Juma was born in 1999 in Kilototoni, Tanzania. He is an incredibly gifted soccer player and athlete overall. His mother's name is Zainab and his father's name is Azizi Mashauri. Juma is related to Subirah and Shabani who MADNow also supports. Subirah is his cousin and Shabani is his older brother. Juma began high school at Bendel High School in Moshi, as of May 2019, and plans to go to college after he graduates. He would like to be a doctor when he grows up!

Our goal is to help all of our students complete either a bachelors degree or technical program of their choice, so that they will not only survive, but thrive in life. Due to the added cost of continuing education our students often need assistance from multiple sponsors.


 

Yearly Sponsorship

Full sponsorship of $2,000 includes:

  • Sponsorship of the child of your choice.

  • Profile of your chosen child. – Skype update from your sponsored child each month. *Calls must be scheduled in advance.

  • One letter every six months.

  • Updates from the child on their personal blog.

Partial Sponsorship of $400 includes:

  • Profile of your chosen child.

  • Skype update from your sponsored child.

  • One letter every year.

  • Updates from the child on their personal blog.

Monthly Sponsorship

Full sponsorship of $170 includes:

  • Sponsorship of the child of your choice.

  • Profile of your chosen child. – Skype update from your sponsored child each month. *Calls must be scheduled in advance.

  • One letter every six months.

  • Updates from the child on their personal blog.

Partial sponsorship of $35 includes:

  • Profile of your chosen child.

  • Skype update from your sponsored child.

  • One letter every year.
