During my recent clinical rotation, I was assigned to a busy hospital ward. On my first day, I was excited (and honestly a little nervous) to finally put everything I’ve learned into practice. On my second day, I was caring for an elderly patient with advanced dementia.

I first discovered MAD through social media and word of mouth several people I admire like Bruno who is a head teacher of the program had shared their experiences with the organization, which really sparked my interest. What drew me to the BEE Program specifically was its focus on empowering young entrepreneurs with practical skills and mentorship

We are handing over a newly built house to Elice, one of our BE Program alumni and a single mother whose previous mud-built home was destroyed by floods. This new residence will provide a safe and stable environment for Elice, her child and sister.

This summer has flown by and I just want to reach out and say thank for being part of our Make A Difference Now family. We are honored that you’ve chosen to support our mission to lift disadvantaged youth out of poverty through quality education and training.

Our USA Scholarship Program is having a profound and lasting impact on students by enabling them to pursue higher education in the United States. Many of these students are trailblazers in their families, becoming the first to attend college.

Benedict: Received a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science from Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College (KCMC) and is now pursuing a Degree in Pharmaceutical Science from Kampala University in Uganda. He will graduate in 2027.
